Just listened to it. I interpret what he said (at around 8:40) that CFast allows larger files to be recorded but the limit is still 29 mins.

The 120 fps mode will probably be pretty soft.
I just listened to it again, I guess I was wrong, I heard him say you can record 4K 29:59 and not be worried about clip duration you would be limited by the cfast card or something like that. My mistake, I apologize. I said I could be wrong .![]()
It looks like the 120fps is Canon's standard FullHD sharpness, although it is hard to tell because the amount of oversharpening on that video really ruined what I find attractive about Canon's look.
Quite probably. But it's also a sign that the 5D4 probably won't have a log mode.I see this camera more as just a good sign that the 5DmkIV will have 4K at up to 30p.
…maybe they're saving the video-centric features for another body. Let's see...
If the same system will come to 5DIV I'm sold. Whatever else will not be there- doesn't matterthe AF tracking looks insane for both video and stills but especially video.

I think the days of ML are behind us. Canon seems to be using different software now and the ML team seems to have moved on for the most part.If the same system will come to 5DIV I'm sold. Whatever else will not be there- doesn't matterGuys from Magic Lantern will take care of this

That's what I call an optimist.Indeed, I estimate the the C100 mkIII to be released this year...

I've got no reason to think Canon has changed the approach from the 1Dc, where it's 1:1 pixel for pixel.

You won't get Canon Log in a DSLR not branded 'C' from Canon. At this point if feels unlikely that that we'll see another C DSLR soon.
Though I will wait to buy I hope to see an upgraded model of this camera like we did the 1DX for the 1DC. A 1DC Mark II with the better 10 bit codec and 180fps in HD along with Zebras and Peaking as well as other things would be a great camera.
