Ramjet Films presents "Re-Birth"

If you think that's critical, wait until he hears from me

I've got highspeed at home and work.

At home though, it's like only 115k upload speed. A little better at work.

Maybe not a year, but by the time drama fest goes online.

thanks, ted.

Larry, I am gonna take you up on it. It'll probably be monday though.

That's great Jeremy.

I guess I will have to move mickey mouse out of the frame if I re-shoot this scene. But I kinda like it for subtle reasons you will hopefuly see when (if) the film is finished.

Thanks,
Jason

Don't go and change anything because us goof balls make fun of a cool wizard hat. If it hints at his past life then keep it in all the way, it's your vision. And I hope you don't think I'd make fun of your screen shots or your acting, for what I could tell it all looked great, but those were some of the only photos you had :) .

Good luck with the shooting, I wish I had to the time to fly over there and help you out with the technical crap so you could focus on some other things (maybe next fest).

No, no, Jeremy. I didn't think you made fun. It's ok if you did too. We all can use a laugh, and where you can find it, go for it. Just 'cause us actors are the sensitive type, doesn't mean you shouldn't make fun of us

I'm offloading some p2 footage right now, from the re-shoot.

Jason

Hey Jason. It's good to know that you have an eye for what good acting is. It doesn't mean you'll always achieve that, but at least you see when something works and when it doesn't. And as far as watching your acting, I don't think anyone enjoys watching themself perform. I just watched "Inside The Actor's Studio" with Johnny Depp as the guest and he said the exact same thing. So don't be so tough on yourself my man...

Thanks Tommy. I'm not too happy with the 2nd go round either, to be honest. But it will have to do. It will be workable, I guess. Tomorrow, I film 2 scenes. That will put me 85% or so done on filming. Tuesday, I will get the last bit that needs filming. Then I start editing. Woo hoo. Whatever it ends up being, at least I will have finished something. I at least want to finish something.

Look for some bts photos the next couple of days, or so.

Jason

Ok. I filmed a scene this morning before work.

I'm filming another this evening, after work.

Once I finish tonight, I will be pretty close to finished shooting. The other small scenes will hopefuly be shot tomorrow.

I should have some BTS shots up tonight or tomorrow from today's shoots.
You'll get to see my ass hanging out of the window of a truck while I was shooting :)

And my 8 month old daughter is a perfect actress, I might add. She needed to be asleep for a scene, and when we got to that part, she was asleep! I wish "Jason" was as cooperative. He's a punk :)

Tech note: The stuff I shot this morning was at a 45 degree and 90.5 degree shutter. I'm kinda interested to see if it looks like I am thinking it will, since I haven't had a chance to test it out before the shoot this morning:) It should give a nice contrast from some of the other scenes.

I think anything that I do, wether it is a drawing, a painting, a movie, or even a sand castle... I'm not happy with it. (I have an HVX that shoots amazing images and I'm all ready wishing for an 35mm adapter... see, never happy:() but it doesn't mean that the stuff we do is bad or looks bad at all, but everything people like us do just pushes us more and more to do better the next time. If any body ever get's to a point where they don't think they need to improve they are crazy. Sorry for the rant, hopefully it made some sense.

Can't wait for some BTS photos and more info.

Hey Jason, sounds great! Really, REALLY looking forward to what you come up with!

Awesome man. (sorry about that "other" actor giving you so much trouble. I tried to warn you about him! )

-Ted

Hey, Ted.

You were right, man. That "other actor" not only is impossible to work with, but he has screwed up his main scene! I thought his talent would be worth his ego, but his talent is not coming through. He's sucking! :) ke hee

Well. I've got the other shoot planned for about 430 or 5 central daylight time :)
So I will try to get up some bts shots tonight. I don't know if I'll get screen grabs up, but I may, since I am off work tomorrow.

Later,
Jason

That's it for now. I'm going to dump the footage from this morning now. Then we will be filming the next scene in a little while. I will try to get some frame grabs up tonight.

Jason

Whoaaa!!!! your risking a life there hanging out the truck's window like that... Bob's life:grin: I guess who needs a Stickypod when you can hang out the window... nice.

Seriously, it's looking good man. I'm interested to see why the baby is on the road... hmmmm.

Always wondered how they did that though. Seriously looking good man. Keep it up! Looking forward to the final result.
