QuestFest - Official Rules - Please read carefully

I will try. The shooting schedule is the toughest part. I have plenty of time to work on post while at work.

guys, the pitch is easy... they're just looking to make sure it's a legitimate quest :)
It's not the pitch that they're having trouble with. It's the green light. :)

But... you guys should really be getting underway regardless. It's about making movies.

Even if you go ahead and make a film that's not quite Quest Fest worthy, you still have a film under your belt!

PM them again and get out there and shoot something!

they'll be coming soon through guys... sorry, lot going on and got behind with nab.

They've all been posted and will get back to you soon.

don't forget, there are other mods... you can always submit your pitches to one of the other mods listed as well :)

later,
Jason

Come Friday it will be 2 weeks for me. Maybe resubmitting to another admin will help?

So have you gotten a response yet to your pitch? Or are you approaching week 3 now?

Tomorrow will be the beginning of my 3rd week, completion of my 2nd.

I'll be honest, I like the pitch concept, but I don't think that the mods quite know how to make it work yet. Maybe by next fest it'll work out better. Ah well. Life is a work in progress.

Yes sorry I didn't post earlier, I sent the pitch again but to another mod and they got back to me, I also see that Zak is now one of the pitch mods so I would send it to him. I sent mine to JDS and got a good quick conversation about it so it's moving along.

Good luck.

sorry guys. i took my name off the list b/c i haven't been able to get back to you quickly enough. Zak has replaced me on the list of folks to send pitches to.

later,
jason

Please feel free to send me your pitches. The only thing that will delay a greenlight from me within 24 hours is sending an underdeveloped "tease" that doesn't clearly illustrate your story and how you are embracing the "quest" theme. Easy. :)

There was mention in the rules for Questfest that there may be a change in the upload guidelines. Anyword on that or are we going with the same rules as previous fests (50mb limit, etc,etc...)?

Since I'm out of the closet with the style of my film, I was wondering is I could get a waiver to "AGE" the leader a bit, as to fit the feel of my film. It feels awkward to have to totally cool, crystal clear leader in front of a grunged out Grindhouse flick. I won't change the leader in any way other than aging it, which is topical.

It was an option on LossFest; meaning that you can use your own sound. Nothing said about that on the first post on the rules... so I think it's still ok, but i guess the MOD has to confirm that :-)

Yeah... I don't know this time:
The leader must remain visually unaltered.

I think grinding it up IS visually altering it?

Yeah, but all it consists of is a little fading and some the small details. That's why I asked, though. God I hope I can...

Anyone?

Can I get a better description of what you consider a "Hard R rating"?
Is topless O.K.?
Is full frontal nudity O.K.?
Are barnyard animals in lingerie O.K.?
