Pulling Ranks - How does it work?

Just wondering, how do people here go from Member to Junior Member,Senior member to Bronze?

Just noticed that I'm no longer a Junior member. Hmm... did I just lose my Junior membership because I said something wrong?

Haha, no no - you've moved up to regular member. Its all in post count...I believe "member" is after 25 posts and senior is after 100?

Whatever the actual post count is, that's how you're ranked. You may also see "custom titles" and those are sometimes given away to the more regular members or during a contest/fun thread a mod (or more specifically, Jason Ramsey) decides to have.

Not sure about this forum but usually paid members can also change whats under their name.
 
Not on this forum - all members are free, as far as I know. The only ones who might pay anything are site sponsors and they pay for advertising and the rights to promote their products within the forum.

We mods can change our own custom titles (but only the Admins can change others); - we pay for the privilege by taking turns deleting spam from the forum and trying to keep the mod area more on topic than the café. :)

Hey! Andrew... Bronze is equivalent to Banned? No joke right? Haha! That's funny...

What's after Bronze? Silver = Jailed, Gold = Life sentence, Platinum = Death Penalty?

I thought it was about when to freak out and pull rank on your subordinates in a drunken rage and as high as Lindsey Lohan.
 
Maybe we should start a movement to go to simple small light setup, long scenes (more than .5 seconds between cuts in the edit room) etc. :)
 
How about they spend some $ on getting a new domain name.. dvxuser.com is starting to sound old school especially with all the new HD camera's dominating the ground.
