P2 footage grayed in FCP, not in External HD

There must be an easy explanation for this, but I can't find it on the boards.
So all help is appreciated. I've got a harddrive full of P2 footage that is
available when I search it from the 'Finder' on my Mac, but when I try to
'Import P2', in FCP, all of a sudden, the lastclip.txt file is grayed out, and everything
that is clicked on, clips / audio / etc are is also grayed out!

What do I do now? These files need to be made into Quicktimes (obviously).

I've never had this problem before, but its been since summertime when I last
tried to convert some files.

Thank you,
Amber

I went and did the obvious. Checked to make sure that
my other two external hard drives are also making the same
error. And they are. Which is great. That means there's something
that isn't set up properly on my FCP. Any ideas why
my P2 folders aren't able to be imported?

it works

it works

I'm such a dork! You're supposed to select the folder, and then
click open. Rather than open stuff inside the FCP finder boxes.

Very embarrassing. Don't know if I could delete this entire post.
But just in case someone else makes this stupid mistake,
its a good idea to leave all this nonsense on the board.
And I've done this before!

Ah well, at least I can start making my P2's into quicktimes....
