Tomas,So it should be possible with pix too ??
I will post again, can I record a ProRes 444 1080p 25fps through single F3 A port to Pix240, with this new Pix feature?
it will be a great feature to my 95% assignments.
Great. I'll have an article at some point today as well (already submitted and waiting for editorial to post it).

AFAIK, F3 does 60p only through dual link output.
Just tested, setting f3 to 3g rgb444 output works like a charm with pix240 via single cable. Pix detects input signal and shows it's 10 bit rgb. Did a quick test, didn't notice any substancial visible changes recording prores hq 422 or 4444, i guess that would come up when keying![]()
Yes we know F3 is only 10-bit but prores 444 is known only to be 12-bit and first you said pix detected it as 10-bit but now you are saying it recorded as 12-bit - so which is it? My question is, is there really a 10-bit 444 mode or does the pix switch down to 422 10-bit as per the option seen in the pix menu?
