Prologue to my WW2 movie "The Bridge"

Looks really good, what did you use to stabilize your walking shots?
I especially love the shots of the woman on the beach, great color.

Great look and grading marlon. i use the merlin as well and love it with the 7d.

What lenses did you use?

OH and by the way I have future work for your male actor. Can you pm me contact info on him? Thanks.

this was shot on the 7D... I too would like to know the lens use especially for the closeups of his face in the beginning... beautiful by the way

Oh boy the lenses... get ready to break the bank. I used 35, 50, 85, and 100 primes Canon "L" lenses and a 24-105 zoom.

This is some of the best looking stuff I've seen on the 7D. No tell tale artifacts or anything that would cause me to focus on the camera being used.

This could easily be a show I'd purchased in HD on iTunes.

Yeah, you just gotta know the limitations and work around it. I always hear people bitching about jello, its too sharp, its too saturated, and moire but if you plan your shots and know how to limit it, you'll be fine.

Hopefully, you will be able to purchase on iTunes whens its done! haha

Wow, this looks excellent. I was curious to know what you are using to edit this. I was also wondering what you are using to create your soundtrack. Is this actual recordings of symphonic instruments, or software? Thanks for any response, and again very very impressive work thus far.

the colors of the lady on the beach are the best Ive seen so far , great work.
I take it the warships were composited.

Edited with Final Cut Studio 3.

For the music, I have a composer. Real recordings.

Yes, the visualfx are still a WIP. They should look seamless when I get some time to work on 'em. Too busy, directing, DPing, editing, and doing sound design... lol

oh no they looked good to me . . .
I thought maybe just maybe ..there was a naval fleet passing by ...haha.

Which parts are A1 and which are 7D?

At 1:18(ish) the micro-jitters show up, that also looks like 7D footage. Be interested to see which-is-which.
