I was unable to test the 8-18 on the Crane today as I got busy at work. But I found an old clip I shot with the GH5/8-18 on a Zhiyun Crane while on a shoot. Just a quick walk down a hotel hallway. It doesn't exhibit any "jiggle" that I can see. Again, I think the distortions are an unavoidable consequence of IBIS (a moving sensor) and a rectilinear wide-angle lens, which distorts perspective wildly the more you reach the corners. That combination, combined with hand-holding a camera, are just going to look weird. It's better on a gimble or Steadicam or dolly.
For comparison, here's a shot using the 8-18 but hand held as I walk down the street. IBIS on. As the sensor moves to compensate for my walking, it's moving towards and away from the edges that are more and more distorted in terms of perspective. The result is unnatural, but unavoidable, I think.
