Just got my pinwide from wanderlust cameras. Its a wide-angle pinhole lens. I have never used a pinhole lens before so I was not sure what to expect. I ran upstairs and shoot some random stuff at high noon and still need to be shoot @ iso1200 to get a ok exposure.

This guy needs a lot of light. Another wild thing about pinhole lens are that they are hyperfocal, every thing is always in focus no mater what. Can't wait to try it on a real project.

I like it. For special purposes maybe, but I like the look.

I have the same pinwide on my GF/GH cameras. Definitely an acquired taste. Better than a traditional pinhole in that it's deep seating allows a full frame image instead of the
usual round vignetted image.
Going to put it on my AF100 next !

I just got mine. Needs a TON of light to expose. To me, it looks a bit like Super 8 film when it was transferred to video back in the day. The softness, the vignetting, the hotspot in the center. It has a very retro, lo-fi look that could be cool in certain contexts. But yeah, you probably wouldn't want to shoot an entire feature with this lens. :-)

Careful! It will not work on a AF100, the ND filters get in the way.

Yeah thats exactly what I thought.

Wow that looks great! Would love to try that lens out if I needed that look for a shoot. Bet it would earn its cost on music videos.

Is there a way to disable the "The Lens Is Not Attached Properly" error message. I am using the Wanderlust pinhole on a GH2 ?

I had 'shoot without lens' selected but I have just solved this myself. There is a spring loaded pin on the camera mount and it doesn't align exactly with the groove on the Wanderlust cap, so by tightening or loosening the cap a little until this pin finds the little groove and error disappears.
