Also, pertaining to the early questions about the fringing, this *IS* the lens. I say this because recently I did a shoot with a Canon 50mm F1.4 lens and anything where I was blowing out the exposure, I got HORRIBLE purple fringing. Changed to a different lens and it was gone.

It is what it is.

Frankly if you don't pre-order now you will not see it until January end.

So no dropped sales due to bad premature reviews. I think many people who are a bit critical at the same pre-order this camcorder.
