I too love this commercial. Everytime I see it it reminds me that politics, religions and races aside, we are all human and we all have one thing in common: the world.

[TheMacB]

that's great. the cut to stephen hawking made me laugh.

Here's another version that a fan made:

[Jared Meyer]

Wow, great promo. Hadn't seen it.

"I love arack-uh-nids..." ha ha

[Drew Ott]

One of my favorite commercials as well.

First time I saw it on TV I watched it a few times in a row. I like the photographer.

edit: I thought it was a Jack in the Box commercial at first because the astronaut's voice is so similar to "Jack". Possibly the same voice.

[Loki]

The Discovery Channel is still one of the only channels I will watch.

wick promo.

[mjmcneese]

I like the commercial, but since D-HD is the only channel I watch, it's starting to get old.

[MiniMan13]

i love it, its one of the commercials that i dont mind when i see.

[sean90291]

really very good

but you guys seriously only watch discovery? i'm curious...do we have any interest in scheduled network dramas and comedies anymore? i know I don't (i watch a few series on DVD now and that's it). hm...i think i'll start a poll. my first dvxuser poll!

[ConspiracyPenguin]

I just voted in your first DVXUser poll.

Now back to topic...I just found this parody of the commercial, it's kind of funny.
