Not so clever
I've always had a problem with motivation, ALWAYS. I used to play Ultimate Frisbee every day for 2 hours a day when I was in college, best shape I've ever been in! But sadly a busy schedule for 2 years has killed my exercise. I used to walk 2 miles every day to class as I didn't have a parking permit and that forced myself to take action as well, which worked out pretty well.
I used to be around 200lbs or so a few years back, I caught myself 2 months ago at 230 and told myself it had to end. I drastically changed my diet, I stopped drinking alcohol, I limited my soda intake to 1 a day (if that), drank water like it was endangered, ate more greens, actually started eating brakfast, all that good stuff. My only downside was I got about 4 hours of sleep a night and because I was so tired when I got home from my desk job I wouldn't work out, so because of that I've only lost 9 pounds in 2 months just from my diet.
Eating 6 meals in a day is almost impossible for me, I would love to but I shoot so much that I barely make 2 meals a day and I hardly have the time to work out...although here's the real motivation for me.
I'm working on a feature film in April, working from dusk to dawn pretty much which leaves my days completely open. Most of the time when I go to the gym it's not a matter of motivation, it's about actually finding the equipment to work out on! My gym is pretty cool, it's $10/month for 24hour access which is quite the deal. My roommate is a sports medicine major and works out almost daily, another good force to push me. So after I get off the shoot at like 6am I'm planning to pass out then wake up and hit the gym. I'm really holding myself to it this time around, I won't give myself a reason to quit as I have nothing holding me back.
So I'll keep this updated as well
