Panasonic Utilities on MAc with Crossover?

Has anyone tried running the Panasonic PC based P2 utilities on a macintel with Crossover software? I'm curious if this will work....

Give it a try Mark and let us know

My guess is that Crossover is great for web browsing, e mail and word processing. Beyond that, I don't know why you would consider it over parallels or bootcamp or VM Ware

Well I did try it and got about halfway there... On the first attempt the viewer utility loaded but the necessary drivers even though they are loaded don't seem to function with the viewer app so its kind of nowhere right now.
I'm not really geeky enough to figger it out so I'll give it another shot when I have a moment and if that doesn't work I might try parallels, but then I have to find a copy of XP.... No way I'm paying for that.

Be careful with software purchases on eBay and elsewhere -- much of the stuff being sold as "OEM" is pirated and uses volume licensing keys that have been or eventually will be deactivated, and then you can't activate or get updates etc.

I also wouldn't be surprised if some of that fake OEM software didn't come preloaded with viruses or key loggers.

Thanks for the heads up.

I am careful. Got burned twice on Sandisk CF cards.

In fact there is a stickie up on how to identify the counterfeits.

However, I been fortunate on the one Windows XP box I bought.
