Hey all. After viewing some footage that was kindly uploaded by some members and doing a bit of research I picked up my own SD9. So far I am very pleased with the picture it is making.
I do however have a question (of course I do, right?). What is the workflow for a Mac? I downloaded the Perian 1.1 plugin and absolutely nothing (as far as I can tell). Right now my only work around is using the Main Concepts utility on a Windows computer and then I have to transfer the files (which as you know are quite large and take some time) over to my Mac and then I can begin working with them. I am under the impression that some people are able to do this all on the Macs, and I am dying the know the process. I appreciate your time and help!
Also if anyone is interested, I can post a short clip of some of the footage and trying to get off the cam currently.
Thanks again!
P.S. I think I remember someone asking about using the SD9 for keying. I was on a shoot shoot last week that required a "talking head" key, so just as a test I set the SD9 up to see what it could do (along side my main camera of course). I was thrilled with the results this little SD9 could give in that particular situation. Just thought I would add that in case anyone was still curious.
