Which test puzzles you. The two articles have some what different tests. It appears fewer for the AF-100, and no comparison with the Canon or Sony cameras.

One of the GH-2 test for 'low light', that is '12 lux', seems to use an automatic mode, which has a bright but noisy image, but when manual settins are used, does not achieve
that same level of 'brightness' in the resulting image.

While the translator features is making progress... it isn't there yet... just a quick check indicates 1) the translator can actually automatically detect that it is German, 2) get some of the words and sentences in an almost intelligible form, 3) lead to some rather confusing phrases.

There are some native German speakers on the forum, perhaps they'll run across this thread and give a more specific translation on key claims...

Funny isnt it? I was hoping the af100 would at least match resolution to the gh2 but have less aliasing. Confirms my suspicions though.

Well that's just embarrassing. Maybe the test was not conducted properly?

Nothing to do now but wait for Barry's shootout between the GH2 and the AF100. This is seriously crazy.

I would assume they did the test properly- they test cameras for a living.

LOL forget it! German syntax is way to complex for a google translation. It´d be all jibberish.

Conclusion of the test is: It´s the best DSLR alternative though there are some minor menu problems (24p/25p switching). GH2 has a little more resolution!
 
I hope this resolution test was conducted properly and is fair as it would really justify my camera purchase. -kidding. but it would seriously be cool.

Wow...there was always this thing at the back of my mind telling me the same story from all the clips I've seen....but....this sort of brings it all to light. Hopefully we'll see more testing soon.

After looking at my af100 footy and checking out gh2 full rez stuff online, I had a hunch the gh2 was out resolving the af100. Would like to get a hold of one and really use them side by side. Both cams together, seems like they would compliment each other really well. After buying an af100 plus accessories, what's another $1k?

Though, slightly irritated panasonic pro couldn't come up with a formula to at least match the rez...
 
the chart comparison between Sony, EOS 7D and GH2 says it all.

"..the best and clearest of all pictures in the large chip division including all VDSLRs..."

That´s why I was so p***ed about the Zacuto decision.

Simply the AF 100 is a different beast than the GH2 and NOT THE SAME.
 
I hope berry green test will include other stuffs aside from Charts. I'm surprise about less aliassing on gh2. If I'm Af100 owner I'm irritated to panasonic.
 
Can someone please mitigate my buyer's remorse and link me to an AF100 vs ____ comparison where the AF100 comes out better? Maybe against an iphone or something :-)
