Tuned in a bit late, does it have an eye piece/EVF? I didn't catch that portion or see anything that showed it having one.

All in all, quite interesting. It's a difficult decision between this and the C200 for me as I'm more event work oriented.

So it will be right under 8000$. Interesting competition for the C200, this has most things that people were missing on that one: cheap media, 422 10bit recording. I guess the question is do you need the better codec or that special sauce AF that canon has.

Stated it wasn't finalized yet and they don't want to release specs until they are sure of what it will actually be.

Definitely looking forward to more info on the raw (bitrate, bitdepth, etc), and we'll see if you've made the industry's first EIS that doesn't absolutely suck (I'm betting not, but I'd be happy to be surprised). I didn't catch the whole thing, so I didn't notice any mention of AF abilities.

Practically everything most of you requested in this Thread! If the image is as good as it sounds, then Panny has a winner! I'd like to see real world footage, but everything sounds good........!!! And yes, I agree with Chris, that presentation was terrible!!!! Still rooting for Panny and the EVA1!!!
