My RAW upgrade for the FS5 camera shipped today. I'd love to see a firmware upgrade for the O7Q+ before UPS arrives.

From who? I'm anxious but probably not ordering my 7Q+ till I finish a current project at the end of the month.

Stupidly from Sony, the license comes in a physical box on a piece of paper. Well, it's a purchase code. Which you then enter in on a somewhat complicated website to get the actual license file to download and install. I don't need the box; it's just a code. The dealer emailed me a scan of the paper. That's all I needed. Texas Media Systems - highly recommended!

Thanks for the report. For me the Option of having a small unit that can be rigged up for good if not better than fs7 quality is what made me choose the fs5 over the fs7. For 80% of jobs the internal 10-bit HD is great. For the other 20% having 4K 12 bit RAW will be fantastic.

Somebody posted a video on the FS5 Shooters Facebook page with a short test that he said used the O7Q in set to FS700. So I guess it already works.
 
I got ours to work using the FS700 settings, as well however I could only get it to work in SLOG2, not SLOG3. So I assume that is coming in the newest O7 firmware update.
 
You mentioned no high frame rate UHD and 4k but unclear if it works with the buffered 4k slow motion on the FS5? Didn't expect to get high frame rate in 4k but really hoped to at least get the buffered 120 UHD to the original Shogun
