Outside shot... ( First Exterior Red frame grab )

First we had bubblegum... now we have milk maids... classic. Great pic to see, can't wait for more but great to see something finally shot in natural light, thanks Jim and Co!

Thanks for posting that, Jim. Once the first cameras have been assembled I'd love to see pictures of "Frankie" ;-)

Looks really nice!

Good work Jim and team.
Thanks for posting images. Just can´t wait to start shooting with my RED 440.

Nice stuff there guys,
Jim do me a favor and take a snap at 120ft pointing vertically at the sun to silhouette that 12ft Tiger Shark will ya? Just wanna see the detail of those stripes at depth!!

Good work.
Mark.

If I knew I had the other 16.5, I would put down the 1 tonight. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to hope I'm not too badly exploited by ordering late if I decide to order at all.

I think the still looks amazing, Jim. I also really appreciate the work you took to "dress" the set. I really do get more pumped up about this camera every day that passes... see you in Hollywood!

Thank you Jim. Can your next "project" be free energy for all of humanity? I can already see this crazy alienesque box that powers your home via a permenent magnetic motor, electrostatic maybe. You can sell it for 17k as well. You have the power to seriously change the world, well done.

CC'd only.

Jim, that looks great. Thanks for sharing!

Did anyone ever answer on the lens question or did I miss that information somewhere? Tech on that scene would be great - ISO, frame rate, shutter, lens and so on.

That's shot 24fps at 1/48th. I assume that means the camera has a variable shutter angle. If so what are the limits? Is it changed manually or electronically? Sorry for my ignorance if this is well known.

Well since it's a shot looking like it's supposed to be circa WWII I thought I'd post my take on it colour correction wise, since I wanted to see how the footage would stand up:

All I can say is, for a compressed 1K JPG it looks gorgeous! I am so glad I put down a second reservation yesterday... this camera is going to be amazing!

Far better than any video I've ever seen before. It's like it's from the Fuji FinePix S5 Pro. I can't see all of it's dynamic range glory on a computer monitor. Mine is only 800:1. So to see the highlights (caused by my monitor), I have to darken the image in Photoshop.

I made it more technicolorish because that's the way I see WWII posters and propaganda. I'm telling you guys, when I was messing around with the hue it was SO easy to have fun with the colors, I almost disgusted myself with pleasure:

It may look pixelated because I compressed to Jpeg.
