I had to laugh when Stryder said "I love you." I had no clue up until that moment (or really after too) that they were in love. Just minutes before he said, "I will shoot you", and had a gun pointed at her. Too much story was crammed into a short amount of time with just that one line. "I love you"
Why was she wearing makeup? That tells me she had the time to stand in front of a mirror and apply it. In that situation? Really? Aliens are attacking, LA is in shambles, and she has her makeup kit out?
Eve: Hold on Stryder, before we go I need to do something really important.
Stryder "What god damn it?".
Eve: I need to put some foundation on, and some lipstick.
Stryder "WTF woman?! We're going to die!"
Eve: "You need to understand that I don't go out without my makeup on! I'm PMSing so don't F with me right now."
Stryder: "Finally, an answer to an age old question. Does PMS trump an alien invasion? Yes, why yes it does."
Eve: "F you"
Now they sound like they're in love and the makeup makes a lot more sense.
The visuals were pretty neat. There were entirely too many lens flares going on. It had the JJ Abrams treatment. The compositing of the figures looked good. The big mother ship looked impressive. I personally liked the stills at the beginning. I know that probably got you points taken off in competition, though.
I liked the makeup job on the alien creature. The audio manipulation of the dialog in the mothership could have been better. It's too obscure without really having an impact. I can redo it for you if you want.

Good constructive review, I appreciate it Aaron. Her makeup was just one of those things where she didn't look all that made up until i saw the final footage. I like your dialogue, might use it in the sequel: No Horizon 2 - More Makeup!
