Thanks. What was the issue on the subject matter? Just curious.
Oh cool...I like stories like that. It can literally go in any direction. I can already see the preacher man might be regressing back to his old self (possibly) with what he had in the front seat. Scandalous...lol.Thanks for watching. The show is going to focus on what happens when your past comes looking for you. It just so happens that this family is in the church business. I wont dwell on that. That's for another day. This was inspired by a very good friend of mine who happens to have a past like we all do and he's looking for a brighter future, like we all are.

Not necessarily so.
I've known and done pistol practice with several preachers who "carry". Even had one in one of my Defensive Handgun classes. Kind of may have been an application of "God helps those who help themselves".
Fairly common here in West Texas.
Looks pretty good actually, the audio is what bothered me. Most of the audio was good including the part about "the deal" at 3:45 I don't hear the cuts that bad at all. The only issue is when the big guy has his back to the camera at 4:30. Then the audio at around 9:00 in the foyer with the Deacon was bad, I'd almost say record and dub voices in there.
....and you're absolutely right Bruce. That's typically true here in FLA. as well. It's just the first thing that went thru my mind when I saw that scene...especially when the guy he was talking with asked "what do you need that for?" But hey...I guess we'll find out.Not necessarily so.

Ha, ha. You got pretty decent acting throughout - which is a big challenge in these tiny indie projects... so you're already ahead of 99% of the competition out there. I especially liked the pastor - great performance. IQ is nice, but audio needs to match that same quality. Wish you much success!

This is a Texas project.
The effect I was going for is to show the Gun and the Bible.
You may need to be protected by both. Its up to you which one to use.
Great stuff - yeah a few minor technical issues but I liked the content and can appreciate the pre-production that goes into something like this. I thought the first sequence was exceptionally well shot and cut and congrats on getting out there and doing it. Was the first sequence GH2 or F3 ? My guess is F3, but would be pleasantly surprised if it was Gh2.
...Which reminds me of why I'm glad I live in the Great Free State of Texas...
Yes, I caught that.
I could choose both. Reminds me of Arnold Schwarteneger's character in "End Of Days" making a choice:
"Between your faith, Father, and my Glock...
...I choose my Glock"
But I follow your message, when I'm watching another's motion picture work I'm not originally critical. As long as what he is doing is presented to me so I can watch it without "effort" and it keeps my interest going, I trust the filmmaker to tell me the story his way. He's made the effort, I can either stay with it or leave if it doesn't keep my interest.
I'm going to stay with yours, you seem to be a good visual storyteller.
Wow, well there you go. Just goes to show how close all these cameras look when viewed in a compressed format. Would love to see the difference (if any) on a big screen. I have always believed its not what you shoot stuff with, it's how you shoot it and set it up. This endless discussions about 2K, 4K, 5K are useful, but in the end, it's the content you're watching that counts. The first sequence (where they are talking at the car and the woman is looking) is the GH2 ( hacked).
