NEW ptool - GOP1 and more than 85mbps average avchd!

Hello. Today i just increase buffer size to max, and bitrate settings up to 80000000 (now it is possible) and set GOP1. It works without loosing frames! I try to shoot heavy outdoor scene and get file with 102mbps max and 83mbps average with very smooth motion. May be some of my settings is not good, i dont know, but it works. Please try some other parameters to make better GOP1 hack.

Native 24p/25p=Checked
Video Bitrate FHD/SH=80000000
Overall Bitrate=116000000
1080p24 GOP Size=1
Preset bitrate=1160
Preset bitrate 2=1160
Overall Bitrate 2=116000000
Constant for 1080p=3888000
Constant for 720p=466560
Video buffer=84.000.000
Audio buffer=4.000.000

.....after this post i try to increase bitrate to 90000000 and make some very good quality GOP1 movies. Camera works good and footage has very big bitrate with smooth motion. At very detailed scenes i have card speed eror, but camera never freezing and everytime saves video without any losses of I-frames. I think, i need faster SD. Could someone try it with sandisk?

I just trying 1080 24p and it works realy great! I have got a lot of outstanding footage. Some of them with 135mbps max bitrate and more than 90mbps average. GOP1 makes all moving details in scene very smooth and every frame like photo. I think that clever guys from this forum can tune my settings and get realy impossible quality.

I can not do it now, cause it is night at my place. I need detailed outdoor screen to taste it, but i think that it is impossible to set GOP1 to 720 60p with so big bitrate. Try it yourself with your fast sandisk after work today.

How many megabytes per minute is the video producing on your card?
 
I tried this patch, and my camera would not even start recording. No write errors, just the inability to record anything. I guess it is possible that I am doing something wrong when I'm inputting the different values. Telkitachki, any chance you could walk us through every detail of your patch - Ptool version, patch being used, etc. Thanks.
 
Tried it on my just hacked GH17 /SanDisk Extreme 30MB/s/kit lens .. its true the motion and camera movement feels more smooth with this setting..i was able to record 24p /wide shoots with out much detail in them (my room) at f4 ..outside with the trees is another story , as soon as you zoom in into a detail area , like a tree i got an error warning..60p , dont even bother as soon as i hit record i get the error warning ...but..what I at least learned here that gop1 to my eyes is much more natural and smoother than the gop12 that i have been using for 24p, only now to find the right mix of number to keep using gop1 with less crashes even if it means less bit rate , i will try to lower the over all buffer and see what happens ..

Hi Stonebat, so are you saying there is no way in a gh1 to get the speed that these cards claim? If that is true are there any other
sdhc cards that can get near that speed but are non uhs-1? Is there any tech information you know of that talks about GH1 not
being able to take advantage of a uhs-1 card?

I am using new Ptool 3.55d. I can not upload footage couse my internet is very slo, but i will try to make it in another place today. Video buffer uncreasing is in patches for testers\avchd movie mode\avchd research menu. All still works great. My camera makes amazing footage!!! This patch for me is more stability and mach more powerful than last lpowels 100mpbs patch. Even if i have card speed error, all files are savings and works without any problems after. I use it with manual lense and full manual camera settings .

Instant lock up for me with any subject in class 10 card. Doesn't work for me.
 
Now i am trying 35mm lens. It is wider and take more details then my 135mm and i have more card errors, but still all footages are works good even after errors, without loosing any I-frames. It seems that there are no any codec troubles and faster card then my transcend class10 will works better. Which card is fastest today? May be somebody who has this card can test this setings? I think it could be incredible result.
