New HMC150, Need help with FCP Log & Transfer

Shizznid, I had similar problems when attempting to access the AVCHD content that had been copied from card to the disk.
When I log&transfer directly from SDHC card (using USB SDHC reader) it works fine, though.
 
The editor I worked with had a similar problem. He had to upgrade FX factory plug ins to the most current version.
 
Are you sure you are going to the upper right corner and selecting
"Add Custom Path" to then browse for your "Private" folder?
Don't mean to simplify things but thought I should check before diving into the issue.
 
I do indeed have the FX Factory stuff installed. I'm compressing a ****-ton of media right now for a client. As soon as it's done, I'm going to try to uninstall the FX Factory stuff, repair disk permissions, and try again.

All is fixed! It was indeed the early version (version 1.0.7) of FX Factory that was causing the problem.

I simply downloaded the latest version of FX Factory, and Log & Transfer instantly recognizes my SDHC card, and/or media copied to my hard drive.

I trashed my 1.0.7 fx factory and installed 2.x.x. Still doesn't work :(. Thought I had to start fresh....gahhhh.

Shizznid, did you have to restart your computer before trying to L/T or did you just install the new version over the old, fire FCP up, and it worked?

I did not have to reboot. I just downloaded and installed the 2.x.x software from FX Factory, and it worked fine. I did trash my Final Cut preferences, though - using FCP Rescue 6.
 
Crap. So do I have to trash my FCP preferences? I setup some custom stuff a while back but I forgot what I changed! It's going to be a pain and a half to fix all that again.

You know, I'm not sure if it's necessary. Backup your prefs, (as a copy), trash the original, and reboot. If the problem is fixed, replace the re-written prefs with your backup copy, and proceed - it may save you a hassle down the line.
 
Trashed it and still doesn't work. Get the error about unsupported media and file structure. My FCP is up to date as is my quicktime.

Anymore ideas guys? My HMC150 is on the way. Would someone be so kind to link to a complete folder for HMC150? Maybe its the private folder I'm trying (from the gain thread).
 
If it's any help...

After I upgraded my FX Factory, I opened FCP. Then I inserted the SDHC card into the card reader. Then I opened Log & Transfer - and it automatically recognized the card without me doing anything. (It did take a second or two, however)
 
Shizznid, do you mind posting up a full PRIVATE folder? It doesn't have to be a long clip, 5 secs would do. If so, could you PM me your email address? Thanks!
 
Many thanks to Shizznid for helping me out! It works flawlessly! It was the private folder that i was given that was corrupted. I'm goin to LOVE this cam :).
