New HMC150, Need help with FCP Log & Transfer

Im having trouble using Log and Transfer also. I have 6.04 installed, and have recreated the 'PRIVATE' structure by creating all of the folders, as in the early stages with this camera and transitioning between pc and mac, I only copied the .mts files themselves from the card and not the whole structure.

Is this where I have gone wrong? I have tried implanting the .mts files into the stream folder of a structure copied from the card, but Log and Transfer still says its not a valid structure.
 
Recreating the file structure, for the most part, is the likely problem.

Try Toast 9 or 10 if this is critical footage. Or VoltaicHD or VideoPierHD.
 
Yeah, if you've jacked up the original file structure, that's most likely causing the problem. Drop the .MTS files into Toast, and transcode them. Obviously, in the future leave that file structure alone! :)
 
I feel like an idiot, but how the hell do I convert them using toast?
The only options are to discs, there is no export button, only the red button which only gives me the option to burn discs. Im using toast 10.
 
In Toast 9, use the last tab which is "Convert."

click on Video files.

Drag the mts files onto the pane.

click the red button and elect how you export.
