New camera, new flick, new problems

I'm using the HV20, 60i, IAF. Just made a little flick. I found when swinging the prop in an arc it just wouldn't stay in focus no matter how slow I did it. Any suggestions?

There's some audio issues (grumbling, a couple pops) compressing for the web I'm working on. Lowering overall volume in FCP, exporting audio as 44.1kHz or 48kHz don't help. Suggestions?

thanks,
elmer

PS: I used the Zoom H4. It did a pretty good job but can't say I'm completely satisfied.

PPS: I come out of poetry so this may be a slightly different film experience.

Ah, NYC! Me, too. Thanks for watching!

I'm not sure why you can't, but here's a page where you can click and save from, I think.

Lighting was simple, a couple 100 watters strategically placed, or natural. The hv20 is pretty special.

Man that was excellent!!!! I loved this piece. That quote from Shakespeare...I never looked at it that way.....but...it's very true.

@ Matt Angello

I used the Zoom H4 for the VO/Narration. It does a pretty good job though I can't say I'm completely satisfied. Compressing for web causes grumbling/pops I can't get rid of yet.

Sorry, you're right, but I'm no pro with web stuff, unless you have a suggestion, I'll be putting it up on YouTube today, maybe it can be downloaded from there.

Well, I looked and looked I couldn't see nowhere to upload on the HV20.com site. No surprise, I'm not so bright.

This will have to do: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R0E72ND9

You should be able to download from there.

Re: Focusing issue on swinging prop

I tried every which way but loose and finally just reversed all the ones where I had a focused shot up near the camera.

Thanks for watching!
