^ Just in case there's any confusion there, no one knew the fest was running until I posted it. At that point I did PM several dvxusers about possibly entering and some new dvxusers PM'd me as well. If I missed you and you would like to be notified of future fests, shoot me a PM.

As far as prizes update, we do have a little bit of money for the first place winner. If anyone else would like to contribute to the prize pool, contact the dvxuser administrator, Jason Ramsey.
CGI guys work hard and seldom get anything for it, so whatever anyone can pitch in for the winners would be appreciated by them I'm sure.

Oh, I was just saying that because my post in this thread was on 10-21, where Jason posted afterwards on 11-04...

Anyway, I know I'm not going to win anything for mine because it's not that great... lol

Yeah, these leaders are harder to do than they seem.

I know I won't be winning but I started another one last night based on an old desk model I did, but I have no confidence it'll be done in time.
It's textured but not weathered yet. How do I do that again? ha. I'll keep picking away at it though just in case.

Uploaded succesfully. I have a few more tweaks I might want to add, but I wanted to get it uploaded because I'm slammed the rest of the week.
 
Tom you are a beast. Can't wait to see these. I really need some new leaders for my future fest entries so i appreciate the hard work.
 
Gord... I am still rendering the 3D portion of it and still have to composite yet... may not be in by tonight. you mentioned if we needed a little xtra time then speak up... Does that still stand?
