FEATURE: Magic - A Matt Sconce Film

Good Luck to you! I find 3-D disorienting after awhile and I believe it's a fad that will die down, but right now it's the trend so staying current is important. Good luck on all counts and dang, do you have a job or do you get to do this full-time. I wish I could write/produce full time.

It's going very well. We have been continuing to work on distribution and are still excited to be working on casting. Matt did some targeted tweaks to the script after some great suggestions from some friends who did a read through. MAGIC was great, now the script is superb, IMO. We shipped off the improved script to many who are possibly going to be a part of taking this to production.

Thanks to all who have been a part of the process of reading through the script and offering suggestions. I can hardly wait to see this on the silver screen. I am very excited about this project.

Flash - Flash - Flash!

Director Matt Sconce and I just got off the phone with the CEO, Eric Edmeades of Kerner Group, the old Industrial Light and Magic.

Mr. Edmeades and Matt have agreed to a collaboration to Co-Produce...

MAGIC!

Mr. Edmeades committed KERNER to the MAGIC project:

This includes all Kerner 3D cams, and their special effects house!

"I want to be involved." said Eric Edmeades.

"I really like the character development of the script." added Edmeades.

Matt Sconce was very excited about the collaboration green light.

"We are looking at a $3M to $10M budget and will work to get two A list talents to attach to the project." said Matt Sconce.

A letter of Intent will be following from Kerner for Aftershock Studio's MAGIC project to be used to raise more investment and secure talent.

It's time for MAGIC to ROCK THE HOUSE!!!

More soon!

a good advice: do a location visit, also with the soundguy. They know better then anyone which sounds are interrupting, which are not, what to take care off....

But I have a feeling you already know that :-p

But still...I wanted to give the advice :-p

All the best to you DVXusers!

It would be easier to cheer for your product if we knew anything about it. Been pretty hush hush up to this point about the story.

When we posted the thread, we posted the Synopsis on the first page.

SYNOPSIS:
A detective JOHN MICHAEL loses his daughter in a tragic bus accident. Two years later, an orphan girl of the same age appears claiming to possess supernatural powers. As the world rallies to her call to believe nothing is impossible, John must discover the truth about her, his daughter, and the power of belief itself.

That is what the story is about.

One new thing I will talk about is that the "Magic" done in the movie will use no visual effects. Every bit of Magic you see done, no matter how unbelievable, will be able to be performed live. :)

Thanks for your input on the script, Ted. I think it helped us add a some elements that really helped round out the characters. Best! -Matt

My pleasure, and again, very gratified that I could be of help! You are also to be commended for taking my probably-not-so-pleasant-to-hear critiques and applying them (to whatever extent that you did so) to a rewrite. Some other, less thick-skinned folks might have just rejected it all out of hand. Been there...many times...
