its basically their "deluxe fly" kit with longer rods, a chest pad, 10" articulating arm and 5" monitor

Here's my $15 pvc shoulder rig for my GH1. rogar-BigGrin(DBG)rogar-BigGrin(DBG) I actually really like it, I have a couple extensions that go over my shoulder or add handles to the bottom. Fancy!

I'm putting a proper one together right now, just waiting for some parts to arrive. How has that lilliput monitor worked for you? I took my chances ordered a similar one off ebay, you can find them for under $200, which is awesome.

It works Great for judging focus, I like the new one's look that has Peaking Waveform, etc. But this one works great, I bought it from someone and they had some 7.2v battery packs with the kit, I have it velcroed to the back of the monitor, works like a charm. Just buy a good monitor arm haha!

It's a bit different now (better audio setup) but this is pretty much it! some rails n plates i made but over all its a combo of parts from different manufacturers. Can't wait till i finish my steadycam!

Here is my HaloRig Mini set-up, which is a work in progress. I have bolted on a Quick-release plate to the bottom of the HaloRig so that I can snap it on to my Manfrotto video monopod which has a fluid panning cartridge in it's base and provides dampened tilting via the monopod head. I also have a snap-in BeachTek passive audio adapter, when I want to record audio from XLR sources. I plan on adding 2 more hot-shoe attachments to the HaloRig ring ( useful to hold Sennhesier UHF receivers, LED lights, ect... ) and am looking at adding a snap-on articulated arm to the HaloRig base to hold my monitor in place.

I've used this set-up on one job so far, and it worked great. The video monopod also acts as counter-balance weight when you want to run around with the HaloRig to shoot Stedicam-ish type of shots.

here's the rig with my ENG set.: antonB battery, old fujinon lens with working servo zoom and rec start/stop on lens grip, old lilliput 7"...looking to get a dp4, anyone have experience with those on a gh2?

I'm looking to get a new baseplate and tripod mount to go along with my rods, Dfocus follow focus and the portabrace shoulder pad.... Anyone have any experience with the Jag baseplate? others that will work with the components I have.... cheers

Still fine tuning but this is my current tripod setup. A mix of CPM Tools and Cinevate parts. SmallHD DP4 and Tascam DR-100.


This is the shoulder mount config although I usually don't have the Tascam on it.

Love my Jag Stuff, Im looking to possibly upgrade to one with an adjustable height, so I may sell mine, But I adore my Jag Gear. great quality for the price, one thing you have to watch out for though is that there is no locking pin on the GH2, so you need to put something on the bottom to try to prevent it turning, I have heard grip tape works well, from skateboards.
