Is anybody still working on a firmware hack?

This is great news Vitaliy, I would love to have a pocket camera with good video capabilities. Approximately when do you think the hack will contain higher video and manual video capabilities?

Im going to try to put some more money in the account as soon as I get paid for my last shoot...ready hope the un hackable cam become hackable.

If you want to see some progress, we need to finish remaining sum.

With very high probability due to slow GH1 shipping, we could go with dumping GH2 first (using body that I have).
I'll try to post update about this on my site as soon as we'll have necessary sum (as most went to purchasing GH1s).

I am a GH2-user. I would like to donate for the GH2 -Hacking. (I am a little bit disappointed that you spent most time for hacking the unhackable GH1s.)

Let us please know, when the time has come for GH2-Hacking and GH2 donating. By the way I would like donate by PayPal. Do you have an account for PayPal? Where is it to find?

Hacking the unhackable GH1 is, generally, safest way to properly dump GH2 :-) Plus many peole own such bodies.
All money after we'll get necessary sum will go to GH2 project.

It will be ASAP.
But. We can't be stuck with GH1 project.
To be short, we have enough money to buy bodies (one part is already spent and other is reserved for second body and will be spent as soon as it arrives), but not enough to pay for dumping (for GH1 only).
As I said, if GH1 will be slow to come and we'll have good stready contributions stream, I'll use my GH2 body to get dump. But only if I could pay for it.

Do you think reporting the "remaining to target" as a percentage is a better idea? I already donated before you started tracking this number. But if I were to donate today, to me saying "77% done" looks much more promisingly closer to the goal (and therefore encourages people to donate) than saying "$240 to target" which looks like a long way to go.

Either way, good luck... I'm eagerly looking forward to a GH1 1.34 hack.

May be it is better idea, but for me it is faster to track "to target" number because some part of the money already had been withdrawn to buy GH1 body.
Plus it makes you see actual required amount.
 
im putting in another 10 for now. I hope others will start contributing more... I really wanna get this ball rolling.

Have just made a donation. Under the "Pay Now button" are signs of two credit cards but no PayPal sign. This is misleading. So, without your information I thought paying is only possible with credit cards. Maybe a PayPal sign would help.

I cann´t await hacking GH2!!!!! :happy:
