GH2 Ipowell where are You?

Even 'cause we don't know the real name of bronxjragon but we know who Andrew Reid is instead. Other than that, they're just facts, not opinion. And opinions are not maths :-)

Andrew and Jason had their issues in the past. Andrew Reid is dvxuser full-real-name member as of now. So, I concur Cosimo's input. Respect demands.
 
He's expressed his view, leave it be and let's move on.

We're after some great patches for the hack, let's keep focus on that.
 
I just don't think it's great to have contributors like Andrew referred to as a 'loser' on a public site, one that will be sitting here for years and that will come up each time he's googled by a potential client, etc.

if we can just have order with Gh2 patches, I miss ipowell's just zip it files for different options. Now you need to swim thru the forum in personal view where to get latest news.. and its all in bits and pieces of information...we need a repository of these patches .....or least be guided where to get them . There is is no feeling of center...just energies in a whirpool mutating day by day.We need ipowell sense for 'compass' with regards to these patches NOW.:grin:

We might be crowding lPowell and in a way stressing the poor guy out. Remember, he's been doing a lot of work on the Gh1 hacks. We have to be patient. Good things happen to those who wait.
 
you are right....he has done miracles with our GH13 and continue to do so. He needs a break...but i would be looking forward to his gh2 ipowell patches nevertheless.

Exactly how I feel! Best to be a patient and await his patches now ;)

Here's something to begin with, a taste of the GH2's potential. While it's MJPEG only, it starts where the GH1 reached its limits:

On the AVCHD side, Vitaliy's latest version of PTool contains numerous technical patches that will require some work to test methodically. In addition, many testers are currently hot in pursuit of the GH2's hidden capabilities, and new discoveries are being posted daily. While it may take some time for the dust to settle, I expect it will be well worth the wait.
