iPhone

I got the incase rubber grip for it, it's pretty damn good! No more feeling like the iPhone is about to slip out of your hands. You can still use all the buttons and it's not bulky at all. I usually don't like the rubber grips/protectors, but this one i like a lot.

i got one last week and so far i love it. it's pretty impressive and everyone i showed it to has been pretty wowed. some of them even figured it out faster than i did, i gave it to one of my mentors and she was zooming in and out of photos just seconds after i handed it to her, and she is something of a technology-challenged type

went hiking w/ it today and took a ton of photos. it's still working great. we'll see about the pixel & glass issues, but i'm getting the full coverage so if it breaks i'll just get it replaced

ive got this *Speck case:

I dont like RE's case because it doesnt cover the top and bottom of the iPhone, and this also came with a belt clip it snugly fits into so its easy to carry iPod style, ive had since 2 weeks after launch, and its literally changed my quality of life for the better.

This phone rules. Best phone i've ever used by far. That volume could be a bit higher, but so far that's really my only complaint.
A few friends have tried out my iPhone, and now they are trying to save up for one.

AT&T's plan, what a pain in the ass... when we got our phones, we signed up for the family plan whch was $130 a month for two phones. Or so we thought... until we got hit with a 200 dollar bill, because the 130 is just for one phone and every additional phone is a separate charge.

AT&T always does such a wonderful job reminding me of why I hate them so much. I will be happy when other carriers can take it, so I can break the contract & take up with someone like t-mobile.

I have a plan with them I've had since Cingular, its like $60 for 2 phones, 700 shared minutes. Plus $20 a month for Internet, I never go over my minutes mostly because of mobile to mobile. We have like 2000 rollover minutes this year so far.

yeah the older plans are so much better. it's kind of sad how the customer gets screwed worse for starting a new plan when you'd think that technology & competition are supposed to drive prices DOWN

I think I'll hold out and see what Iphone 2.0 brings with it, at the rate Apple turns out new producs the wait shouldn't be unbearable.

okay, I finally used one of these things. they're awesome. where I'm sold is on the zoom-in zoom-out feature for web pages. So amazingly cool. Still won't buy one until they're at least 32 gigs. 4 gigs for one of these guys. That's a freaking ripoff.

I was too going to try to wait, but i dropped my old phone in toilet by accident. And since I already had cingular/at&t, i just bought it and it was ready to use that same day, a couple of hours later.

I spent the last week in Tahoe, where I had no internet connection but had satellite service, so I could check all my mail on the iPhone. Most of the way through the week, I got an email from a mentor of mine asking me if I could help him film a documentary, and I got the email, responded, and we emailed eachother back & forth about the gear, call times, everything. All set up to start the day after I return home. Been working on that one since.

Even better, when I went to his house to meet before the shoot, I went to the phone, checked the address book, clicked his name and google maps came up so I could see exactly where his house was. It just blows my mind all of what I can do on this thing. If it wasn't for the keypad, I probably wouldn't bother checking my email or any other light computer task on anything but this thing.

AT&T. Downloaded all my email, surfed safari and even watched some videos on youtube with but I did have the cell connection. I guess I got confusing w/ the satellite thing, I mean back w/ the cell tower which then (I believe) bounces to a satellite and back to the main connection.

Still loving this iPhone, this is easily the best phone i've had. Just printed out the $100 rebate the other day, still undecided on what to get. I was going to get an external harddrive, but they are sooooooo overpriced at the Apple store. $219 for 500gb's!?!
I got an Iomega external 500gb hd for $109 plus $10 mail in rebate.
