I hope this isn't a spoiler, but i'll put the warning just in case...
SPOILER!!!!
I think the only thing that really took me out of this movie was that random Bowie song when the premiere night begins. I mean, I know Tarantino always puts some eclectic music in there, but considering all (most?) of the music was Morricone, it just seemed so incredibly out of place and cheesy. It definitely didn't ruin the movie or anything, but it was a bit of a downturn.

Oh yeah, awesome performance! I am always bitching about german/austrian actors, but I think all they need is a good director and a good story/script.Christoph Waltz performance blew my mind.
Saw both films opening night here in Ottawa, Canada. No cheers for the gore, if anything... the odd moan and groan. The audience cheered on District 9 anytime some human was blown away. It was kind of weird and a little uncomfortable. I wonder if they did that in Canada and Europe?
Having grown up with that song and seeing the 1982 version of Cat People... I actually loved it. Loved it! No issues here.I hope this isn't a spoiler, but i'll put the warning just in case...

but I stopped thinking about the film at times, and started wondering about society as a whole and how I began to slightly distrust my fellow theater patrons.
