Do we get a free bag of popcorn as well?

:)

Thanks for the info.

When will the first batch arrive? The cam, not the popcorn

I can certainly get the popcorn out before the cameras if that is what you guys want. :)

We are looking at Mid to Late September. Don't quote me on that though.

Andrew,

Whats the position on pal/ntsc on the hpx 170 ? Is it on camera built in or can we do factory upgrade afterward or what ??

thank

Hello Dxmetal,

The 170 needs to be upgraded to PAL and can only be done after it has been registered for the 5-year warranty. This means that only US customers with US addresses can get their cameras upgraded to NTSC/PAL.

Best regards,

Andrew Hoffman

I've been told we will be only charged labour charges.. but that might be different in other countries.

From my information it's free (EDIT: No, it's $300) in the US unless I'm wrong. The dealer info that I have says that you just request Panasonic service to upgrade your camera once it has been registered.

maybe it was labour charges for the first few people down here as panny nz had to buy the tools to do the upgrade..

I need to correct my original statement. USA customers will be charged $300 and the camera needs to be sent to New Jersey or California. Turn around time should be about 2-days.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.
