I'm done! Compressing right now. I could tweak forever... more sound effects, better grading, blah blah blah. But it's too late for all that now. I hope Compressor's "Estimate file size: 48.54MB" is right on....

How long is it taking to compress per file, because I'm using compressor too.

Uploaded mine at 2:00am Eastern. Not 100% pleased with the compression and the footage look (too dark) but it will have to do.

Compressing!

By the way, does anyone have any particular settings that are working well for this?

I have a feeling it's going to take me a few tries before I'm happy.

Okay, well, I was getting upset when compressor was taking like anywhere from 15 to 30 mins. on a file. If I do a basic compression it only takes 5 minutes. For some reason the H264 takes the longest.

still editing!

Last shoot was only 2 days ago, and i have 3 hours to do final touches and upload.

waaaaaaaa

what?! Darkline is in! awesome!

btw ... i'm also still editing. got a version uploaded for "safety" already though.

Deadline approaches...

I've just uploaded. I'm a bit bummed because I the last render I did sent me 1 mb over the limit! And there's no time to do it again with a lower bitrate.

Fortunately, the previous version was well under 50mb.

Note to self: Don't cut it so close for nextfest. :)

Uggh...all-nighter...I kept changing things. It's not perfect by any means but at least I was able to participate this time. Right now, I'm trying to find a happy medium between image quality and file size.

Hey Ben and Mark, thanks ;-)

I'm all done. Mark you still have 1 hr 15 min to make something. I think you should take up the mantle...

good luck Ben, it's nice to be back... Im so looking forward to this fest. A night getting totally wasted on beer and watching shorts is the only way forward.
