How can I get this look from a 60D?

I wanted to know how to get this look from a 60D. What lens do I need? Can someone make a picture style that can make this look?

I don't want to have to read through this forum so if anyone can just post everything I need to know in this thread it would be great.

Only new Zeiss CR will do.
This is their Cosmic Resistive series. Standard fit for medium fighters and Panasonic 4x3 meters sensors.
As I remember price is quite cheap, something like 15.000 billions dollars.

Don't Forget your Phillip Bloom Dvd as well........

Truth is to the Op if you have to ask how to achieve this look you already lost the battle.....

I'm detecting sarcasm here. $15 billion dollars is obviously made up. I need to get this look for under $150 if possible because then I can get more backers besides my parents.
In a related note I would like to achieve this look as well...

I think the whole space thing is getting people confused. I'd be just as happy getting a look like this (in camera):

For a reasonable cost of course.

Boulder, can you please confirm if you are being serious or not? At first I thought it was a joke directed at some of the recent "how do I get this look" posts on the forum, but now I'm not so sure...

If you are being serious, then this look has nothing to do with cameras and more to do with background mattes, motion graphics, 3d software, scale models and compositing skills. You can get that look with a stock 60D easily, if you have all the other elements in place - which I'm guessing you don't. The look in those digitally composed shots is the culmination of several different artists working together with different medium - 2d, 3d, digital, motion, stills, paintbrushes, cameras, computers, green screens, remote controlled models, choreographers, etc. Saying "how do I get that look for $150" is like walking into an art gallery and saying "how to I recreate all this for under $150?" The good news is that achieving that look, like with art, is not so much about the cost of the equipment, but the time spent learning, practicing and perfecting your work.

As for the Transformers grab, well that follows a simple forumula - put a hot woman in soft, flattering light and press record.

Lol this made my day..well Boulder, the message here is no short cuts available!u will have to start by learning how to use the camera, lenses, lighting, framing etc so yes u MUST read through these boards.

Then you won´t be able to get that look.

Lighting , Color Correction , Color Grading , Composition , 3D , and a Fine looking star is all you need.

the sad part is that we are all usually MORE than willing to help out...and have in the NUMEROUS other threads the OP has posted. But i just think enough is enough. You cant help someone that doesn't want to be helped who constantly thinks there is no craft, science, training and SKILL behind the looks of peoples films, but instead constantly speaks of "out the box", and "there are obviously no lights used", and who makes everything rest on the camera type and not the plethora of other factors involved in filmmaking. And then turns around and actually dismisses any notion of that when people try to point him in the right direction. Rest assured if and when you shoot with the f3, RED, Alexa, Genesis, Film, RED epic, they will have there own set of problems you will have to work around...but hey...blame the camera :)

. . .old master told me once, "in order to paint the perfect picture, you must become the perfect person, then just paint naturally"

But I think Dr J, Julius Irving said when someone commented on his jumping and hang time ability, how do you do that? His response was, "it's easy, once you learn how to fly"

Excellent Quote, I like this. Also to the Moderator and everyone on these boards, it's good to sometimes just laugh a little. This is a very difficult art that requires a lot of time , I think really no one has the magical formula.... After time when you have worked on different projects over the years and learned so much, people 1 day ask you how did you do this, that's when you finally take a step back and reflect on how you as an artist have grown.

Honestly this is one of the best forums on the internet & I would have not learned as much if they did not exist. Thank You Everyone!!

Also "Jambredz" Im a Fan of your work, keep putting out great projects!

For that main shot, I use a lot of magnets around the camera. It also helps to eliminate any moire, but I'm not sure how it works (technically speaking).

Zeiss 1mm f.01

Shoot wide open

Apply "Megan Fox" preset to footage in After Effects

???

Profit

I wouldn't do that....... I upgraded to the Megan Fox preset, (I had the older Lucy Lu preset) The Fox preset worked great visually but the audio portion just sounded.....stupid.
