THoff said:On the Mac, the DVCProHD codec is part of QuickTime, you don't need to install FCP in order to get it.
DelRio said:I do not have FCP yet (on my new System) that is why I bought P2 LOG because I thought I could log all the footage for now and buy FCP after my trip. I wish I would have put the $200 towards FCP. But I'm stuck trying to figure this out now. After I called Imagine they said that I could get the Codec from a FCP disk I think he said Disk 5, or if I could find that somewhere. He just said that he couldn't send it to me cause of some agreements with apple.
Long story short the Imagine guy said it will work without FCP installed on my system but I need the HD codec from FCP. Evenwhen I got this file I need to know where to place it.
