GH4 GH4 V-log?

what can one do if one does not have "LUT"s to correct V-LOG in their NLE? (cough VEGAS cough) I mean, for flat footage, I use contrast bright to sculpt the look, but is there some better way for NON-LUTters?

You can use a LUT with Vegas.
 
Vegas doesn't support LUTs sadly. I was waiting for Vegas 13 to have it but no.

Some third party solution can work I think, I haven't found a straight forward one. I just gave up on LUTs as a Vegas user alltogether. Nothing beats manual De-logging anyway ;)
 
yeah, I figure if the end result LOOKS good, who cares how ya got there, right? I think COLOR CURVES kinda works like LUTs in Vegas, but there is no REAL LUT support that I've seen.
 
Cineform has supported luts through firstlight and Go pro studio for years. Very underated and not many know about it. Realtime 3D lut support. Once you use it you will wonder why it took you so long. Works great in Vegas or any NLE for that matter. Adjustments made outside of Vegas though, but update in realtime. Check it out
 
I guess if no new Vlog announcement by tomorrow this time -NAB Monday- then we should accept that Pana is keeping it for the GH5 and get on with our life.
