GH2 - solutions for the band problem...

I thought it would be much worse of a problem. I don't see myself filming in such low lighting and at 3200 iso that often. So I'm definitely happy with the GH2!

A fix would still be nice though :)

the important thing is to know if all cameras have it or not.

The crucial question is if its a sensor or processing issue. Could someone shoot at ISO 3200 @ 3-4 stops under using HdSDI to a nanoflash. If no banding then its certainly not the sensor but a codec glitch and would conceivably be fixed in a firmware update, or as with the GH1, a hack. But it is troubling that some cameras don't seem to have banding, which would point to the hardware. And the last question is has Panasonic recognized the problem and held up delivery to fix it? It seems very few cameras have shipped after that first batch.

I have a second batch GH2 (got it last week) and I get banding on low light under exposed indoor footage (14-140). Solution? Use the amazing 20mm pancake for indoor work if possible. Looks great.
