GH2 in stock thread

Well, after lunch, I stopped by a local shop to look at a $20 lens filter and walked out with their last GH2 (silver, body only). I wasn't going to buy another VDSLR camera, but knowing Vitaliy is working on its hack, I couldn't resist it. Now I just need someone else to tell my wife instead.

OK, so a few days ago I finally got an email acknowledgement of my Panasonic order (got the Facebook deal), which just said it was on backorder with no known ETA. Today at random I tried putting my order number into this link and it says it will be delivered in one business day!

BUT, it says it is going to WA and not CA. So is this trick really reliable? I really hope it shipped, but I really hope it's not actually going to the wrong state...

Also, it says it's shipping from Hodgkins, IL and it says there are two packages. One is 5.9lbs, other is 1lbs.

Just looked up "gh2 hodgkins" and found posts on DPReview saying that's where their GH2 shipped from... Of course, they aren't open now so I can't call.

Ya, I placed a GH1 order through that facebook deal too (5 days ago). I have absolutely no idea when it will be shipped.
 
Bought a black gh2 kit today from Hunt photo and video in Boston. I called yesterday for the heck of it, and they said they had a 14-42mm kit in black. I paid by phone then picked it up today. So it's worth making the phone call even if their website says their out of them. They may have some more silver body kits as well if anyone is looking.
 
I bought mine a few weeks ago from Precision Camera in Texas. They had the GH2 with the 14x140mm when no one else did.

Anyone ever bought anything from gobigweb.com? they are advertising gh2's in stock with 14-42 lens kits for $599. Is there any way this could be true?
 
There are a couple of GH2's with 14-140 black available at amazon.com & some 20mm f1.7 lenses as well.
