I finally found a few moments to run a simple test at home. It's only two takes, 30 seconds total, but in both examples the beep is evident.

My camera is currently at panny nz being fixed, should have it back next week, gonna take a bit of time, the tech is away.

Got a replacement to shoot on in the mean time.. thank you panasonic.

I just noticed the beep on my camera last week on a really big commercial shoot. Luckily we figured out that the second slot was clean and used just that slot all day. I am in Chicago and was wondering if anyone can give me a sense of how long the fix takes? Also, I have been having an intermittent problem with my headphone jack not working nearly since I got the camera. Has anyone else experienced this? Honetly, I was really excited to see that others have had the beep problem and there was a fix. I checked over at Fletcher to see if they had any solutions and when they hadn't heard of the problem I got really worried. They are great over there and are my go to source for answers. I will definitely let them know what I have learned from the forum.
