I'd love to know how this LUT would do on the FS5
So is this LUT something that you can apply and adjust brightness if needed and have a finished look, or does this LUT need work with adding contrast and saturation and so on?
LC709A - @ 18% grey = 40% IRE and 90% white = 71% IRE
709Arrilook - @ 18% grey = 44% IRE and 90% white = 73% IRE
Only Bert would be able to tell us that... On his blog he says he tweaked Sony's LC709A, but looking at it with Ben Turley's LUTCalc, I'd say it's quite different.Just to clarify is it a modified version of Sony's LC709a LUT or has it been built from scratch?
It does when you're selling it. If I take an Impulz LUT and change the gamma curve and saturation I'm pretty sure I am not then within my rights to sell it on. Don't know if that is what has been done though.
I've no idea why I'm being so contrary about this. Not usually this much of a curmudgeon about these type of things...
