FLOWER a flyin' monkey films production

Yeah, I was in almost the same boat this weekend. I had to reinstall a few programs and add new ones and plugins on my laptop, so I didn't do any editing this weekend. It's kind of funny, because we wouldn't be acting like this if we hadn't shot so far in advance of the deadline. I better get my azz in gear and get 'er done 'cause October is moving fast.

Good thing we're so far ahead then isn;t it. I still consider it late in the process though. Still gotta get sound design done and scoring completed. THis has got to be the longest it's ever taken me to edit a film.

I know. I don't know about you, but this has been the most prepared (all around) I've been for a short. Considering updated programs and equipment, early pre-production and production, I'm sitting on a pretty good creative cruise control. I've been able to really take my time with alot of elements and so I'm very pleased and extatic with alot of shots and editing. Wish I had time to do another one.

i have an idea for another one and the location, but need strong actors and the dialog to flow correctly in order to pull it off. Too busy editing to think about any other projects... besides I don't want to piss off the Horrigan.

Looking forward to seeing this, Rodney. When I get a chance, I'll read through the gazillion posts in this thread. LOL!

Cheers!

yeah.. navigating this thread is a confusing landmine of confusion and lies. We've changed course a couple of times and in the beginning I didn't want to divulge exactly what I was workign on, so there are a lot of lies and a ton of misdirection. It's only when I got to New York that the current incarnation really solidified since I wasn't making to back to Toronto in time for anything. Man.. i don't even know how far back that is...

Alas, no werewolves this time...

LOL! Ok. Well, usually, I'll look at the first few posts for filmmakers' grabs and production notes. That keeps me up to speed.
