BBDO did the script, I directed and shot the footage, which included coming up with the moves and some of the action.

Insanity... I like to shoot, so don't count yourself out just yet. I'm more affordable than you might think, especially if I keep up this HD addiction.
 
I was thinking to see romance stuff considering you shoot flowers commercial as subject! Whaahhhhh! I wanna see more flowers with nostalgic music and art! Use the Hvx200 with heart!

Here you go, straight out of FCP as Jpeg high quality. They are the squeezed 720x960 though. You'll have to get em to un-squeez em if you want.

Nice spot. I love the WWF feel for Valentines day and then the female voice to put it all in perspective. Good job. :thumbsup:

Ya got to give E some appreciation on this gig or no gig. I'm surprised though that you didn't mention the Canon in your post but maybe that has died as footage is coming back like this. I'm hoping to have Daytona 500 footage for everyone, but tha's dependent on a client... so .

Great looking footage. The stills are awesome. E, could you describe your lighting set-up, green screen elements, and the gear you used to get the moves? I think we'll be seeing a lot more commercials shot with the HVX. I'm working on a pilot next couple of weeks instead of them renting a varicam.

as good as the VariCam?? what do you think?
 
As good as a Varicam... No, but close enough for most HDTV applicatioins.

It's also much smaller, which makes it much easier to move. Which makes it easier to get crane and steadicam shots using less expensive support equipment.

For this spot I used a Cobra Crane mounted on an Indie-dolly as well as a Steadicam Flyer, and some hand held and of course tripod.

Brilliant. Nice spot! Compression's pretty nasty but your stills look great.
 
Okay, stupid question here, but why couldn't this be composited and produced using hi resolution still photographs?

I'm not knocking the Panny, because I'm on a list too, and certainly not the shooter, but I didn't notice much video footage.

The HDV comment about spinning footage. For about a half second? Is that an huge issue?

Don't understand that comment either.

Help me out?
