First DVX100B Footage

I just got a DVX100B and ran outside to shoot some video on the Harbor in Maine. Let me know what you think.

Nice footage man! Really nice color and composition. Try taking some of the sound out next time, or recording a long ambient clip and putting that in instead of the clip audio.

I second the vimeo. When exporting in media encoder, try exporting it as 720p.

nice ! thats a DVX100B right? how would you do HD footage with that may I ask ? ;-)
I am contemplating getting a HVX201 for my next trip to India but maybe I should just take my DVX along and shoot in squeeze.....its still makes great pictures!

you can't do HD footage with the DVX per say. The easiest way to get faux HD is to shoot squeeze, and when you are exporting with media encoder, you export the footage as 720p.

You can also bring your footage into a widescreen 720p timeline and scale it up to fit the window and export as 720p.

You can also get a plug in like instant hd, which helps a bit.
