Final Cut Help Please!!!

I shot a movie in 72024p imported it into final cut pro 6, edited it a bit, then my partner made a new sequence and edited her own copy, the only problem was that her sequence settings were set to DVNTSC and not DVCPRO720 so she edited the whole thing, and we want to use her edit, but it has lost significant resolution and when I try to change the sequence settings of her sequence it squishes the video to 1.2.35 and the video is only half the size of the sequence. Is there any way I can make it back to hd?

Create a new sequence for 720P24

Highlight the entire timeline in the DV sequence and copy and paste it into the new 720P sequence.

If your clips are still squished and half the size they need to be then:
Highlight every clip in the sequence, right click, and choose 'REMOVE ATTRIBUTES'
Select 'Basic Motion' and 'Distort'
Hit OKAY.

As long as you didn't have any specific motion and distortion effects on any of the other clips, that should work.
It will take the motion and distort values back to the default setting of 100% and 0, respectively.

Awesome thanks so much guys you really helped me a lot!
I had a commercial that I shot that needed to be completed on time and I successfully go it in thanks to you guys!

"modify > conform to sequence"

I'm using FCP 5.1.4 and I have Modify > Scale to sequence, is that same or is Conform to sequence something new and seperate?
