FEATURE: Fathoms deep

Thanks Marlon.
And Screen, I think the lack of a number leaves a lot of the mystery and wonder intact. If things get broken down far enough it's no longer movie making. I'll tell you I hired a sound designer a dialogue editor and a composer. These people worked cheap but spent months on the movie so even that kind of cheap ads up.

Will be exporting the final version of the film this week. Where do you guys author your dvd's and create the menus?

2 hours away from finishing my final hd export of the film. Next up... Menu in Encore.

Encore is an awesome program for building menus but not that all the hard work is done I'm getting transcoding errors. Man it seems like this has to be the last mountain to climb in a long long series of mountains. Oh film you are sooo close to being done...

Nice! I've been wanting to try Encore out. It looks pretty cool and probably has more options than DVD Studio Pro.

The thing about Encore is that you do most of the work in photoshop. Encore can identify the work by the labels you put on different layers for for instance a button needs only to be named (+) NAME and Encore will do the rest. Hence you have a lot of control and flexibility to design. If only I could figure out the technical stuff and get the menu to "create" itself lol.

Secondly. DVXUSER'S please help me get 100 likes on the facebook page by the time the film is complete. I've made it a small goal and feel it would be a good omen for the film if we can hit the mark. Please check out the page and "like" it. Thanks for the support.

Okay, I gotcha'! Photoshop seems to be needed for everything these days.

I'll hit the FB up now.

Fathoms deep is... Completed... Done... Finished! :)

13 months and then some is a long time to work on a film but I'm happy to say I burnt my first dvd (with menu) today and the movie is ready for duplication. Thank you to everyone who followed along and wished us well on the journey. We've still got a great amount of work to do but the hurdles we've jumped and the mountains we've climbed so far seem such an accomplishment... what could dare stand in our way. Thank you dvxuser's and stay tuned for the release.
