Will the camera still have traditional focus edge peaking? Or only green squares?

Oh well, pretty much in the same place as before, deal with canon's ridiculous file sizes and get autofocus, or do without and enjoy 400mbs.
I agree, a whole lot of peoples decisions boils down to this very point. It's interesting to me because, historically speaking, Cinema cameras and cinema lenses never relied on auto-focus. I think that AF is an area of cinematography that will show some of the biggest progresses in technology.
A camera like the EVA-1 with AF equal to or better than the Canon would certainly be a game changer. Very interested to see the images from the EVA-1.
I think that autofocus is important feature of a camera, but the C200 is more heavy than Eva1, and it seems the lack of CFAST card of 512GB is very discouraging. I just want to know how is possible use the camera at the best. You keep asking these questions about AF but I think if you need it that bad just get the c200 and deal with Raw, I don't think this camera is going to be that great relying on AF
Ask Me Anything.
I've discovered that the RAW upgrade of the FS5 now is free, someone told me that the FS5 Mark II will probably come out soon.yes there still is no perfect camera - both these cameras have their strengths and weaknesses depending on needs - you just have to decide what is most important to you.
Eek sorry such a cliche but that's how it is...
When you point the camera (FS5) on something it starts to focusing, right? The difference with Eva1 is that you must push a button.hmm, by all accounts the fs5 AF is rubbish too

I wish it was the solution! LOLMy friend...get a Handycam and call it a day.
I believe there is an OLPF, but when one is able to cram 5.7K onto a S-35 area the need for one is greatly reduced.
