My (2nd) DP6 just shipped. Thanks for putting together the group buy - 10% meant another couple of batteries.
I submitted my contact form so I can get in on the group discount last Fri (3 bus. days ago). Now its going on 4 days and I still havent heard a response from them. How long did it take for you to receive a reply with your discount code? Thanks.
I was in the first group buy and man is this monitor sweet. I've used it at several shoots now and everyone on set was really impressed with it's image quality. Plus it looks great on the zacuto rails with a nikon 17-35 hanging off the front.
I have an HPX170. Has anyone used the bracket to attach the Panasonic battery to the back of the smallHD monitor? Work well ? I'm deciding between getting more Panasonic batteries or getting two of the smallHD batteries.
I have the Panny battery plate. Works great so far, batteries lock in really tightly. Obviously adds a bunch of weight and bulk to the back of the monitor when you have two of the large batteries on there though... but it should power it all day long I imagine.
Hey Ryan, are you able to correct anamorphic desqueeze with this monitor and your lomo lenses?
Currently you can only squeeze down the image about 80% to 3:1 (instead of the full 3.56:1) but it's still amazing. It's so exciting to see a lovely (just about) proper image while I'm shooting. I have corresponded with the small HD folks (they're great) and they are aware that we'd like a 3.56:1 image and are working on it. I'll be helping test their new firmware which I hope will have this feature.
I'll take some photos of the monitor in action soon, might be shooting a little something tonight.
