Hey I did it just cuz :) Had no illusions of winning anything..but hey it was so much fun I'm gonna do it again.. And since I now have this mind blowing story idea, I might win a plastic mic holder or something :)

LOL! Hey michael, any more kissing lesbian scenes in this one???

lol, ever see Torn?

Hey, no special effects or anything like that required for a drama, I'm all over this fest... I'm finally going to be in one!

Im screwed up and al the other way around. I find myself in no need of SFX for Action films...yet for a small 6 minutes DVX "Drama" film festival. I find myself adding the need for various explosions..weird.

and if she's really versatile, she should be able to play Eric. :)
Is she Erica or is she Eric:

She wears lace and she wears flannel
She watched football and the Lifetime Channel
What's that buldge under her nightie?
It must be hermaphrodite, yeah, hermaphrodite

Barry I have an idea. What if you offer a voluntary entry fee of say $20. All the money would go into a pot and the highest rated filmmaker who paid into the pot would win it.

We're going low-profile with the rating thing this time around and I'm still completely against an entry fee of any sort--voluntary or not. Free is good--I like free. But if you want, you can send $20 to your favorite filmmaker. You can also buy me a beer as a gesture of solidarity.

The Eric/Erica thing throws something of a curve . . .
I was thinking of doing something with Mimes entirely in slo-mo!

I guess if you want to do an ensemble piece with no single central character, then all the characters can be named Eric & Erica.

Drama doesn't have to mean we can't have some humor in it, right?

Nah, it's all gotta be dead serious. Every scene brimming with dramatic intensity and every character constantly seething with inner turmoil, despair, lust, and pain.

Oh, ****, you're saying it has to be a soap opera...:2vrolijk_08:

Well, maybe you can squeeze a little humor in between the lust and despair. Seriously, I'm being facetious--drama can contain humor.
