Dominion - a supernatural detective noir webseries

Had to watch it on my phone, so I can't comment on everything. It looks good though. Love the aerial shots and how you incorporated them. The cc and the cinematography is really good too. When's the next episode?

its goign to be monthly with 4 minisodes coming out weekly.

Rodney! Nice to see you back around the forum a little. I see you've been busy. :)

Looking good. Love those city shots. Adds so much to the production value. Really nice work.
I really like the camera work as well. Lots of movement. Looks good.

If I was going to critique I would point to the sound. I really think you need some foley work throughout.
That's an easy fix though. Maybe focus a little more on that for some of the upcoming episodes.

Looking really good though. I have to applaud you for getting out there and making it happen. You're an inspiration.

Just watched Episode 1. Quite liked it. I will follow the series and eventually I'll add a post about it on Badguyfilms to try and help spread the word.

Are the mini episodes part of the main story line? Like does one need to also see them to know what happens in episode 2?

I really liked the line about "the office in a hardware store" - as a microbudget filmmaker I thought that was a brilliant way to legitimize a usable location (at least I'm assuming thats what you did)

The lead actor has charisma and seems like the type of person/character people can enjoy following episode after episode. Best of luck with it, and I'll be watching!

Thanks Mike. I'll definitely talk to Andre about the Foley and see if we can plan it better for future episodes. I got really lucky with the city shots.
We definitely tried to keep the shots interesting and the movements informed so it wasn't just movement for movement's sake.

And thanks for your feedback. You really helped the entire process and I can't thank you enough.

Staven: thanks for watching. Glad you'll join us and watch as it all unfolds. Thanks for posting about it as well. Any help we can get in getting as many people to see it, we really appreciate.

The mini-episodes are more ancillary content. They provide a look into the world of Dominion, show characters that form a little backstory. There will eventually be a connection where you see characters from the episodes, but it's really more of an exploration of the entire world.

Thanks for following. Join us at facebook http://www.facebook.com/dominionseries when you get the chance.

There is some foley in it. But only there where there was also "human voice sound" (like breathings, sounds of pain when getting hit....sounds of breath when running....when thinking....)
