Hey Rich, not using the DSLR on the series yet. That was all filmed in Toronto on the HVX, no gear available. We're bringing out the T2i to play on Monday's shoot for minisode #12. That's where I finally have all of my equipment back and can really bump those production values up a few notches. no more handheld shots! I promise @Homunculus

I must say that I absolutely love the flexibility of having the T2i on set. It's allowed me to plan in photoshoots for posters either on the day of production or even on separate days. And especially useful here in NYC.

Case in point: an Saturday we were shooting in this dead end tunnel right next to a National Graveyard or something like that. It's a very lightly traveled area with few pedestrians and no auto traffic. So of course the cops swing by on occasion to make sure nobody is selling crack in the tunnel... or shooting a movie without a permit. So when the cops inevitably pulled up and asked for our permit, Mia (my lead actress) just piped up "We're doing a photoshoot."

The cops nodded, took a look at the camera and left.

I'm just glad I'd taken the camera off of the shoulder mount only 10 minutes before they showed up and that I wasn't using the HVX or the steadicam.

It's fun shooting in NYC with a DSLR...
 
I would do some ADR for the dialogues... The few ones I heared here sound to....roomy...to reverb...echo...effect.

I know some rooms just sound like that....But for example a bathroom in a film will never sound like you hear it as recorded in a bathroom....
What they do is add some absorbtion material during recording...or ADR it and add fake "reverb" so that it sounds like a bathroom but not exagerated...

Well that's what I would do... :-p
